Designed to play as a moving adaptation of Alice Hoffman's bestseller, The Dovekeepers is more of a wounded duck.
April 02, 2015
If you are a fan of ancient Judaica or faith-based historical dramas, The Dovekeepers offers enough to keep you interested, if not wholly entertained.

The Dovekeepers... is so bad it is virtually impossible to believe it exists in the current landscape of American television.

April 02, 2015
In all, the actors deliver even when the dialogue feels a bit starched and the story seems to hew a bit too faithfully to Josephus' real documentation of the Masada siege's survivor tales.
